Polymarket is collaborating with data analysis company Palantir Technologies and AI firm TWG AI to build a surveillance system targeting suspicious transactions in sports prediction markets.
The new monitoring system will use real-time data analysis to detect market manipulation, insider trading, and unusual betting activity. Under the partnership, the platform will carry out participant screening and generate reports shareable with sports leagues and regulatory authorities.
Prediction markets enable trading of real-world events such as elections, economic data, and sports results, and as their popularity grows, the need for transparency has become critical.
